Deep Creek Lake, MD

Our first stop this Fall season is near Deep Creek Lake, Maryland for the September 26th -28th Mid-Atlantic Log & Timber Design-Build Expo. Our route takes us through West Virgina, providing a good opportunity to catch up with Mark Bowe (from Barnwood Builders fame) and friends at Barn Wood Living. This is the second year we are exhibiting near Deep Creek (in McHenry, MD to be exact) and are excited to be back. Let the show season begin!

Traverse City, MI

Next up, all the way to Michigan. Being able to see so much of America’s beauty during its fall season is incredible, but the cherry on top is arriving in the scenic Traverse City, the “Cherry Capital of the World”. We’re here on business, but we might visit some of those famous wineries and breweries. Might have a stroll along a Lake Michigan sugar-sand beach, too. Too bad we missed this year’s annual National Cherry Festival.

Asheville, NC

Our 2025 Fall Season ends in Asheville at the SouthEast Log & Timber Design-Build Expo. It’s nice to finish in our backyard, as Asheville is only a short ride from home. It feels more like a victory lap than a final stand. Asheville is such a cool place, with a vibrant, creative culture, seen in its independent restaurants, lively music scene, and numerous art galleries, all set against the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We are very happy to see you again, Asheville!

Saratoga Springs, NY

Our first stop was in Saratoga Springs for the January 25th -26th Log & Timber Design-Build Expo. There are plenty of attractions in this town. Saratoga Springs is home to America’s oldest and most popular thoroughbred racecourse, as well as the National Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame. Check that out if you are ever in town. Or maybe the naturally carbonated mineral springs; the only ones of their kind east of the Rocky Mountains. It’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer, but the show must go on!

Columbus, OH

For a rare two show weekend, we split up after Saratoga. Half went to Pennsylvania, and the rest of us headed to the Buckeye State. The Columbus Log & Timber Design-Build Expo was from January 31st – February 2nd. We didn’t have much time to enjoy the sites around town, like the #5 nationally ranked Columbus Zoo & Aquarium, as we had to hustle back to PA to join the rest of the team. But we got to grab some of Katalina’s famous pancake balls on the way out of town.

Harrisburg, PA

We were excited to make our debut at the week-long American Great Outdoors Show. This is a massive show that features over 1,000 exhibitors and covers 650,000 square feet of exhibit hall space! With a jam-packed schedule including, speaking events, archery competitions, celebrity appearances, seminars, & demonstrations, there is just too much to see in only 9 days!

We had only a few days to get all the way down to Georgia, but we knew we would see PA again very soon.

Dalton, GA

It’s a long road to Dalton from Harrisburg but home happens to be right along the route. We were all longing for the comfort of our own personal pillows and mattresses (and the loving embrace of family, of course) so a couple of night’s stay at home did us all good. After a quick refresh we headed down to the carpet capital of the world for the Dalton, GA Log & Timber Design-Build Expo on Valentine’s weekend. If you love log homes (but not the maintenance) then take your sweetie out to the show!

Allentown, PA

Back up to Pennsylvania… this time to historic Allentown. We Elite-Cretans dig some American history, so we know Allentown’s little secrete. Ring the bell if you know it, too. (hint)

We took the scenic route so we could enjoy some of Lehigh County’s quaint and photogenic covered bridges, but on Feb 28th – March 1st we were all business at the Allentown, PA Log & Timber Design-Build Expo.

Rogers, AR

We went from covered bridges to natural bridges as we traveled from Eastern Pennsylvania to the heart of the Ozarks, one of the fastest growing metro areas in the country. The city of Rogers boasts a nice temperature and encourages active outdoor lifestyles. Nearby plateaus, mountains, and crystal-clear lakes make life here peaceful and pleasant. At least until tornado season. Fortunately for Rogers (and all of Tornado Alley) we were able to present our concrete log wall system, engineered to withstand 250 mph winds, at the Arkansas Log & Timber Design-Build Expo from March 14th – 15th.

Boise, ID

After enjoying a well-deserved, three-week break from the road we once again kissed our wives and babies good-bye and headed out west. It’s a long drive, but the 2,100+ mile route would deliver us into a slice of heaven. As beautiful as Idaho is, the land is considered risky for wildfire, flooding, and earthquakes. And snow. Lots of snow. Our resilient and structural concrete logs got a lot of attention from locals at the Boise Log & Timber Design-Build Expo in early April.

Burlington, VT

The show schedule was starting to slow down, but the destinations were getting further apart. After another 2-3 week stay at home, we headed back to Burlington! We enjoyed Vermont and Lake Champlain in 2023 but were unable to come back the following year. Making a return to the Burlington VT Log & Timber Design-Build Expo, we were excited to see old friends and restock our Maple syrup. And before making that 1,000-mile trip back home, we made time to meander down Church Street Marketplace for that world famous apple pie!

Estes Park, CO

For the last show of the season, we once again loaded up the truck and headed west. 1,400 miles later we found ourselves at the gateway of the Rocky Mountain National Park. Estes Park isn’t the biggest city around, but you just might see some pretty big bear, elk, or moose while you’re there.

We were excited to extend our reach into the western and Rocky Mountain states. With any luck, we’ll be back in this part of the country very soon.
